In the 1960's restaurants began capturing customer interest by placing playgrounds at their locations. By the 1980's, due to overwhelming lawsuit from children getting injured, the Consumer Product Safety Commission was forced to enact a Public Safety Playground Handbook. In 1980 Grifgrabbers was in business doing car/boat upholstery, sailing equipment, and safety equipment. Due to the demand to revise playgrounds and create new ones a company by the name of Tenderfun came to Grifgrabers for help. This mass influx of business evolved into Cat Company II. Our company would spend 25 plus years manufacturing playground and safety equipment along with medical equipment for children with disabilities. Cat Company II would advise, design, and customize all products, relating to soft components, for 100's of companies across both the U.S.A. and abroad. We adhere to all government regulations relating to child safety and material used. Our foam is CertiPUR-US approved meaning safe for all (i.e. low phthalate, low emissions for indoor use, no mercury, lead, or heavy metals). Our vinyl has been tested by Vartest Laboratories to be in compliance. Unlike imported materials, which degrade at a rapid pace, our materials are specifically made for for both children safety and to last. Over 30 years of experience has provided us with the knowledge of what works and also what the standard of quality should be.
